ABOUT KNYSNA INTERIORS Previously operating under the name of Tertia van Weers and Associates in Cape Town since 1985, Knysna Interiors opened in Knysna, Garden Route, South Africa in February 2005. The studio has had many years experience in all aspects of interior design, decor and interior project installation. It is an established, dynamic and accomplished interior design company, specializing in planning, decoration, supply and procurement and interior building project Management. We have an extensive portfolio - ranging from corporate office design, shop interiors, hotel and guest house interiors, holiday homes, home décor and house renovations. The studio has worked together with architects and builders in their liaison with clients. This would include assisting with selection of finishes, joinery, bathrooms, kitchens, tiles and general finishes; all elements that are part of the Provisional Costs in the Building Contract. This is of particular note if the client does not live locally, as we assist both builder and client in assuring a flow of communication with regard to the selection of finishes, fixtures and costing approvals. The interior ambiance, décor and furnishings are then developed to complement the architectural style according to the client’s preferred style and budget. Due to extensive contacts in the hospitality supply industry, homes and guest houses can be fully equipped with beds, small and large appliances, linen, towels, home and kitchen ware, artworks and accessories. As a result of this increase in demand for a full turnkey service, some clients are requesting an on-going home management service whereby they have peace of mind that their homes are cared for while they are away. |
